Dean Prentice Prospect of the Month

New York Ranger fans have spoken and for the month of December they have voted Tomas Zaborsky of the Saginaw Spirit (OHL) as the winner of the Dean Prentice Prospect of the Month.

For December, Zaborsky was 6-6-12 which led all Ranger prospects in scoring. As for the season, Zaborsky is 21-21-42 which is 3rd among Ranger prospects, 3rd on the Saginaw Spirit and 30th overall in the OHL.

Zaborsky was selected by the Rangers in the 5th round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The 5'11 181 lb. left wing is on a pace for a 40 goal, 40 assist 80 point season.

Zaborsky is a strong 2 way player who is making the most of his overage season with Saginaw. This selection gives the OHL the first 3 winners of the Dean Prentice Prospect of the Month.
