USA VS Switzerland 1st period

This is the game that the USA needs to be the most afraid of as Switzerland as it is well rested having not played on Saturday.

Just like against Slovakia, the USA starts slowly against the Swiss and only the play of goalie Jack Campbell who has been standing on his head to keep this a scoreless game.

Luke Walker took a penalty for interference which was a good call.

Lines remain the same as from yesterday with no changes.

Something to watch is see if Ryan Bourque tries to shoot the puck; Bourque going back to his last 3 games with the Quebec Remparts has not attempted a shot on goal which is making us wonder if he is playing hurt.

The Swiss have been impressive in this period and if not for Jack Campbell this game should be a 2-3 goal lead for the Swiss.
