A Much Better Effort For Some

Saturday night was a much better night for at least the New York Ranger prospects as they showed up to make key plays for their respective teams. Starting with Ryan Bourque of the Quebec Remparts who earned first star of the game honors with a goal and an assist, followed up by Roman Horak's 3 assist night and Max Campbell of Western Michigan who added a 2 point night.

The Ranger Report can be found as always right here.

As for the Islanders, the less said the better as their collective efforts yielded a single assist among 8 prospects. These nights will happen during the season so it is nothing to get worried as numbers do not always tell the story of the night.

The big story coming out of tonight was Anders Lee and his Notre Dame Fighting Irish with a huge upset of top ranked Boston College.

Any question about whether Anders Lee and Notre Dame was for real was answered tonight as they held the defending NCAA Champions to just 1 goal in a 2-1 upset of Boston College.

The Islander report can be found right here.
