No Win Tuesday

Griffin Reinhart (Edmonton Oil Kings)
Just 2 games on Tuesday night with both involving 2012 New York Islander drafted prospects and neither saw their team come away with a win. Griffin Reinhart (NYI 2012 1st) and his Edmonton Oil Kings played host to the Prince Albert Raiders on Tuesday night and really the Oil Kings had a night they would prefer to forget.

The power went out in the building with 1:20 remaining in the first period and was out for close to 2 hours before play resumed. Edmonton gave up the game's tying goal with just 17 seconds remaining in regulation and they would go on to lose 3-2 in the shootout.

Griffin Reinhart would record his first point of the season on the only assist handed out on Mitch Moroz's 9th goal of the season at 9:52 of the third period giving Edmonton a 2-1 lead. While it was one of the reasons why Reinhart was named the game's 3rd star, Edmonton continues to struggle falling to 4-5-0-1 11th in the 12 team WHL's Eastern Conference.

Loic Leduc (NYI 2012 4th)
and his Cape Breton Screaming Eagles watched a close game fall apart as they lost to the Halifax Mooseheads 7-3. Giving up 5 goals in the 3rd period will do that to you as Halifax used 3 goals to turn a 2-1 lead into a 5-1 and Cape Breton never recovered.

Leduc was mostly quiet going scoreless on 1 shot with a +1 and 1 hit.
