Wow just 2 games on Wednesday night involving 2 New York Islander prospects and yikes there was some serious head shaking over the results here. So go pretend this was the WHL and there are no games until December 27th.
Loic Leduc (NYI 2012 4th) and his Cape Breton Screaming Eagles must be riding their bus tonight trying to figure out how they lost 3-1 to the Moncton Wildcats. The Screaming Eagles should be screaming after firing 45 shots at Wildcat goalie Alex Dubeau and only able to get just 1 past him.
In the meantime, the Wildcats could only manage 18 shots on Screaming Eagle goalie Alex Bureau and scored 3 times. Leduc was scoreless on 2 shots and a -1.
Victor Crus-Rydberg (NYI 2013 5th) and his Plymouth Whalers were not much better. The Whalers actually scored a power play goal just 1:33 into the game only to see the Belleville Bulls scored 4 unanswered goals after that to earn a 4-1 win.
Crus-Rydberg was held scoreless for this game.
