A short yet sweet post

Adam Pelech (OHL Images)
With just 2 games involving New York Ranger and New York Islander prospects on Thursday, this one won't take very long to do. Adam Pelech (NYI 2012 3rd) returned to the Erie Otter lineup and playing for Canada in the recently concluded World Under-20 championships as his Otters were on the road to take on the Barrie Colts.

Pelech was right back into the top pair for the Otters and even had a new defensive partner after the Otters made a trade earlier in the week. Nothing fazed Pelech as he had a 2 assist +1 effort to help his Otters earn a wild 6-5 win. Pelech had a secondary assist on Erie's 2nd goal of the game as well as a primary assist on the Otters's 3rd goal.

Teammate Troy Donnay (NYR 2013 UFA) was scoreless and a +1 as the Otters stretched their unbeaten streak to 4 games with the win. The Otters also despite missing 4 key players have held on to the best record in the OHL.

Loic Leduc (NYI 2012 4th) apparently got injured in the 2nd game he played for after being traded to the Rimouski Oceanic. Leduc suffered a "upper body injury" and the Oceanic do not expect him back into the lineup until next week.
