The Monster Truck

As the New York Rangers were just whipping on the Toronto Maple Leafs 7-0, there a glimpse into the Ranger future going on up in Medicine Hat as Dylan McIlrath (2010 1st) was putting on a show of his own.

The Ranger prospect drafted to be the physical defensive stopper tied a career high with a 3 point night as McIlrath and his Moose Jaw Warriors just smothered the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-0 in a very chippy game.

McIlrath earned the game's 2nd star with his 3 assist +3 night as he set up 2 of the Moose Jaw goals including the game winner. McIlrath was on the ice for all 4 Moose Jaw goals but played under control as this game go out of hand late in the 3rd period.

Yes McIlrath took 3 minors but when the Hurricanes got frustrated, McIlrath remained under control and did not retaliate. A total of 104 PIMs on 32 infractions were called as the only area where Moose Jaw played poorly was on their power play going 1 for 13.

Of course we will take some credit as Dylan got a sneak peek at the profile that we did on him for the Blueshirt Bulletin (yes shameless plug but we are allowed once in a while). The Truck is now 4-15-19 +7 91 PIMs.
