Duh on me

(USA Hockey)
You would think that a college student would be able to read a calendar but no I stepped on myself Thursday and missed the games. Canada defeated Sweden 7-3 while Team USA rallied from down 3-1 to force overtime and then win it in the shootout 4-3.

Sorry nothing of any real value to report on from the camp, Brady Skjei was a healthy scratch which in my eyes means he is a virtual lock for the team. Cristoval Nieves played left wing and was scoreless as sadly he looks like he is going to need a major 1st half to earn an invite to the selection camp.

The Islander's Taylor Cammarata was an extra forward and for the 2nd straight game mostly sitting on the bench for reasons unknown. Ryan Pulock played for Canada and looked good according to reports, Adam Pelech was a scratch. Portland Winterhawks Nick Petan and Brendan Leipsic were scratches while Derrick Pouliot go to play.

Everyone takes Friday (yes I double checked) and will end the camp on Saturday with Canada/USA and Finland/Sweden. Expect all teams to use what they consider their best lineups when they go against their biggest rivals.
