It sure wasn't sunny on Sunday
Sunday was the total opposite of Saturday night as where there was solid performances on Saturday night, Sunday was just weak. 4 New York Ranger and New York Islander prospects played on Sunday with just 1 goal and if not for a head to head matchup then odds are good that there would have been 4 losses.
Anthony Duclair (NYR 2013 3rd) and his Quebec Remparts were hosting Loic Leduc's (NYI 2012 4th) Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. Duclair was scoreless on 4 shots with a -2 (while missing on his shoot out chance) and 2 minors for interference as Cape Breton earned a 3-2 shoot out win.
Leduc was scoreless himself but a +1 on 1 shot with 1 hit and a minor for slashing.
Ryan Graves (NYR 2013 4th) was scoreless on 2 shots, 1 hit and a minor for the delay of game as his Charlottetown Islanders were defeated 5-2 by the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
Finally in Portland, Kyle Burroughs (NYI 2013 7th) and his Regina Pats kept the score closer than it might have been but the Portland Winterhawks dominated them for a 5-2 win. Burroughs had his 2nd goal of the season but had a double minor (roughing) and a minor for holding. Portland wins 5-2.
Adam Tambellini (NYR 2013 3rd) missed his 2nd straight game witn an undisclosed injury as his North Dakota team took on Nebraska-Omaha.
