Just 2 games on Sunday with both teams getting badly needed wins even if neither prospect factored in the outcome. Anthony Duclair (NYR 2013 3rd) was held scoreless on 3 shots and 1 hit as his Quebec Remparts needed the shootout round to defeat the Drummondville Voltigeurs 3-2. Duclair was scoreless for the 2nd straight game something that has not happened since Novemeber.
Duclair also missed on his shootout attempt which is the one area where Duclair does not excell at. The win allows the Remparts to move back to within 2 points of 4th place and 1 out of 5th.
In the OHL Jesse Graham (NYI 2012 6th) and his Saginaw Spirit were in Guelph trying to defeat the leading team in the OHL the Guelph Storm. Graham was scoreless as the the Spirit defeated the Storm 6-3. The win helps the Spirit maintain a 4 point lead over the Owen Sound Attack in the battle for 6th place in the OHL's Weatern Conference.
