Duclair scored his 3rd goal of the season unassisted at 4:19 of the second period giving Quebec a 2-0 lead. Less than 2 minutes later at 6:14, Duclair picked up his 1st assist of the season when he contributed a secondary assist on Quebec's 3rd goal which came on the power play.
In the 3rd period with Quebec up 4-1 Duclair was pulled down resulting in a penalty shot that Duclair cashed in for his 4th goal of the season and earning Duclair the game's 2nd star. For the game, Duclair was 2-1-3 on 3 "dangerous" shots, +2 and 1-3 on faceoffs. Duclair in 2 games is 4-1-5 and his 4 goals puts him at the top of the QMJHL in goal scoring.
If you are looking for offense this season out of the Ranger prospects then Duclair is going to be the only real scoring threat. With a 4-1-5 weekend, Duclair will receive consideration for one of the 3 stars of the week for the QMJHL.

Ryan Graves (NYR 2013 4th) and his Charlotte Islanders needed almost 4 hours before earning a 3-2 shootout win over the Saint John Sea Dogs to improve to 4-0 on the season. The game required 9 shootout rounds before a winner could determined.
Graves was scoreless on 2 shots, a -1 with minors for holding and interference.
Loic Leduc (NYI 2012 4th) and his Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 5-2 for their first win of the season. Leduc was scoreless but was still very active in the game. Leduc was a +1 on 2 shots and 1 hit with a double minor for roughing late in the game when the outcome was decided.
